Limited Run Games, in cooperation with intellectual property holder Square Enix, has announced Gex Trilogy for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam).

    I wonder if the Chinatown level is going to be just as uncomfortable to play in this version as it is to revisit in the original

    Square Enix still owns the IP? I figured it would have been included when they sold Crystal Dynamics to Embracer Group.

      Gex 2 was one of my favorite games growing up, so I’m stoked for this. No idea how well they’ll have aged though.

        Just played it recently. I still think it’s a solid and underrated platformer that didn’t have much 3D platformers to learn from

      A lot of the humor hasn’t aged super well, but they’re pretty fun and funny platformer games. I replay them from time to time. Very 90s. Quirky, spontaneous, full of one liners and outdated references.
