        All anyone cares about is the connector when it comes to charging, which is what the whole EU thing is about. So it would solve for that, while providing significantly faster transfer speeds if a Thunderbolt cable is used and it’s plugged into Thunderbolt on the other end. This is why Apple puts Thunderbolt ports on their laptops instead of just USB.

        It’s just a value add, while taking nothing away.

          No offense, but I think there’s a gap in your knowledge. I’d love to fill it in, but to be honest, I don’t quite know where it is, so I’m going to go back to watching Godzilla, and I wish you a good night.

            Why don’t you try, because I really don’t understand all these downvotes.

            Built on USB4 v2, Thunderbolt 5 will be compatible with previous versions of Thunderbolt and USB.

            I hope you enjoyed the movie.
