Wrestling - It’s earned that reputation as “being fake11” well, so are movies and shows too, you know. Also, I don’t want to just focus on the Attitude Era 24/7, because there are also other points of wrestling where it’s been good too.
Darts/Bowling - People will find them too damn boring to talk about. There’s a bit of a zen feeling with playing and watching these games.
It might be scripted but the pain is real for those people.
There’s a big difference between being scripted and being fake. I’m not super into wrestling, but the fact that it’s scripted makes some of it more impressive. It’s full-contact daytime soaps.
That’s part of why I love it, and why I could talk wrestling for days. It’s storytelling with punching, what’s not to love? (Yes, yes, simplified as hell but you get my drift.)
