She’s lost a lot of weight this winter, which means she will be getting a weight gain supplement and I’ll be bringing more bananas.
She was really excited to see me today and instead of letting me brush her, she would let me do a couple of brushes, then would trot away and give me a mischievous side eye.
I finally got to brush her when I took her into the grass to graze.
I ride a Belgian cross a lot and he is really wide and not the comfiest to ride. He also isn’t that fast, so he’d do poorly in competitions.
What makes him not comfy? How os the character of that horse?
And yes, I don’t believe anybody could compete with those horses! They’re made for work.
But if you look at horses like people look at dogs, so in a way totally disconnected from their selection, I guess many would like to have a huge Belgian or Romanian, cause they look great and many doesn’t care to compete in anything, they just want a bulky lovely chunk of animal to hug, love and spoil.
